Mr. Earl Mayuga is an Engineer with Powertech’s Asset Management Group. He has more than eight years of experience providing the practical application of corrosion science and cathodic protection to clientele throughout British Columbia. The projects have involved corrosion studies and the application and assessment of corrosion protection for water transmission and distribution mains, gas pipelines, water storage reservoirs, fuel storage tanks, marine structures and other structures. Mr. Mayuga was also responsible for developing corrosion protection strategies and cathodic protection designs for buried or submerged metallic structures both nationally and internationally.

Ms. Bonnie McCauley is the Project Accounting Administrator in the Finance department. She is responsible for controlling the project accounting and billing system, investigating and obtaining explanations of discrepancies in accounting records, and performing associated accounting procedures to correct discrepancies. Bonnie also prepares and produces invoices for Powertech clients and investigates internal and external inquiries and disputes related to Powertech billing and other related accounting records.

Sarah Mellard is the Executive Assistant to CEO and President Raymond Lings at Powertech Labs where she manages his daily operational activities. In this role she works closely with the Executive team managing confidential correspondences, providing logistical support as required, planning special events, and communicating deadlines and action items. Additionally, Sarah is the Manager of the Administrative team and provides direct support to the Human Resources department.

Mr. Hamish Miller is a High Voltage Test Engineer whose responsibilities include testing transmission, substation, distribution and other equipment to ensure conformance with industry standards. He also performs failure analysis of electrical equipment and works with international clients to resolve issues with high voltage testing or failure analysis.

Ms. Stephanie Mills is a Project Engineer responsible for pressure vessel and fire testing within the Advanced Transportation department at Powertech Labs. Her main focus is to perform specialized high pressure hydraulic testing of equipment, and to creatively design new and custom types of test equipment for this purpose. Stephanie’s responsibilities include cylinder testing for use in CNG and H2 applications (Types I to IV), testing to industry standards, data acquisition systems and project management.
Stephanie has a background in Chemical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

Dr. Akshaya Kumar Moharana is a senior engineer at Powertech and performs a wide range of power system studies. His consulting activities focus on composite load modeling, small-signal stability analysis, transient stability studies, transfer analysis and evaluation of security limits, Total Transfer Capability (TTC) and System Operating Limit (SOL) calculation, renewable energy integration studies, electromagnetic transient studies, and various NERC/WECC compliance studies.

Mr. Morton is a Specialist Engineer with Powertech’s High Power Lab, under the Substations Technology & Testing Business Unit, where he is primarily involved in high power short-circuit and switching testing. He has 25 years of experience in testing high and medium voltage switchgear, fuses, power and grounding connectors, power and instrument transformers, reactors, high voltage cables and cable accessories, terminations, large machine stator coils, revenue meters, electric motors, and motor drives.
