For the automotive industry, Powertech’s Materials Solutions Department works with designers, manufacturers, and certification bodies to ensure each material can be safely integrated into the system.
Working alongside Powertech’s Gas Systems Testing division, the Applied Chemistry Department is skilled in performing hydrogen compatibility and oxygen exposure testing required for international vehicle standards. By being able to perform a variety of characterization tests for polymers and composites, clients can be confident that their materials have been tested to meet or exceed industry standards.
