Gaurav Patel is an Engineer with the High Voltage Testing Service team at Powertech Labs. With over 17 years of experience in testing, fault diagnostics, projects, quality control, and inspection of electrical products. Gaurav’s expertise is demonstrated through electrical testing of HV switchgear (circuit breakers, reclosers, disconnectors, and panels), MV switchgear (reclosures and cubicles), transformers, instrument transformers, HV cables, bushings, and insulators. Gaurav is a Professional Engineer registered with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) and comes to Powertech from Hitachi Energy India Limited (formerly known as ABB Power Products and Systems India Limited).

Vijay Gunja is a Specialist High Voltage Electrical Engineer in High Voltage Testing Lab at Powertech Labs. With over 30 years of Electrical / Electronic product design and development experience, Vijay brings a variety of experiences to Powertech. His experience ranges from design, development and testing of DC-DC converters, inverters and telecom power supplies from a few watts to several kilowatts. Vijay has led and managed large teams, as both as a project leader and engineering manager. Currently he is specialized in testing Transformer Rectifier Units (TRU), Transformers, Voltage Regulators, CTs, VTs, CVTs, bushings and failure investigations.
