ADVANCED TRANSPORTATION - TESTING
Mr. Philip Horacek leads Powertech’s Testing, Advanced Transportation department, a world leader in the testing and certification of high pressure gas components, automotive fuel systems, and hydrogen fueling protocols. He has more than 15 years of experience in the hydrogen and alternative fuels industry and serves as a technical expert for various CSA, SAE, and ISO committees.
Mr. Fred Rashidi is a seasoned Engineer with Advanced Transportation sector at Powertech Labs. As an Operation Engineer, he ensures test equipment are kept in full capacity, meet the standards and any specialized modification is properly implemented to match client needs. With his extensive international experience interacting with OEM manufacturers within automotive testing industry, Fred creatively provides solutions for new test equipment designs, so that the outcome exceeds expectations.
Mr. Colin Cindrich has eight years of experience in engineering design in different disciplines and five years of experience in project management in different industries. As a Senior Test Engineer with Powertech’s Advanced Transportation team, Mr. Cindrich manages testing programs of hydrogen vehicle components and works closely with clients to determine effective test schedules and parameters.
Mr. Matt Dixon is an Engineer with Powertech’s Testing division of the Advanced Transportation team. He is the Team Lead for pressure vessel and fire testing, which includes durability and certification testing, as well as testing of high pressure hydrogen cylinders.
A Project Engineer in the Advanced Transportation - Testing lab, Mr. Marcus Treacy leads a team of technologists, and manages projects in Powertech’s world-renowned test center for high-pressure fuel systems and components used in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle transportation solutions. His responsibilities include writing test reports, communicating with customers and sourcing vendors and suppliers. Mr. Treacy has extensive experience as a Design Mechanical Engineer including ten years experience in the hydrogen fuel cell industry.
A Project Engineer in Powertech’s Advanced Transportation - Testing Department, Mr. Evan Waugh is responsible for high pressure hydrogen system testing to international standards for compressed hydrogen components and storage tanks used in vehicles, transportation, and fueling station applications.
Ms. Stephanie Mills is a Project Engineer responsible for pressure vessel and fire testing within the Advanced Transportation department at Powertech Labs. Her main focus is to perform specialized high pressure hydraulic testing of equipment, and to creatively design new and custom types of test equipment for this purpose. Stephanie’s responsibilities include cylinder testing for use in CNG and H2 applications (Types I to IV), testing to industry standards, data acquisition systems and project management.
Stephanie has a background in Chemical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
